Welcome!

We serve churches by helping them communicate their distinct mission, values, and beliefs.

The plan: “keep it simple.”

We get it. You started out in ministry to share the good news with the people in your community. No tricks or gimmicks, just a simple message of Christ’s love and an invitation to grow as disciples, that’s it.

But somewhere along the way, people started asking questions and looking for clarity:

“Pastor, what exactly does our church believe about the end times?”

“I feel like God is calling me to be a deacon, is there a process I can follow?”

“I could help out with the church’s website or social media, but I’m afraid I won’t use the right tone of voice. Do we have any pointers written down?”

“I’m scheduled to preach in our Matthew series, but I want to make sure what I’m preaching lines up with the person before and after. Do we have any sort of overview document?”

While these questions are important, they often take a backseat to the more immediate tasks of preaching, discipling, and evangelizing, not to mention urgent matters like hospital visits and crisis counseling. Yet, the absence of clear articulation on these crucial matters (among others!) exposes churches to the risks of disunity, inefficiency, and mission drift.

This is where ChurchWords comes in. Collectively, we possess over four decades of church communication experience spanning from the deeply theological to the highly practical. We collaborate with leaders from diverse denominations and affiliations, infusing passion and clarity into the communication that supports the life of each unique church community.

In an age of impersonal chatbots and AI, let us help you express the distinct mission, values, and beliefs that set your congregation apart as a unique member of the larger body of Christ!

Our Core Values

The following four values shape why and how we work with churches and ministries.

  • We believe that no two congregations are exactly alike because each church is composed of unique people. While all churches have the same Savior and the same Great Commission, each church community will have unique things about them as part of the diverse body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:12)

  • We do important behind-the-scenes work so that pastors and other ministry leaders can focus on their primary work of teaching, discipling, and equipping the saints for the work of ministry.

  • ChurchWords is in the clarity business. Without it, people talk past each other, misunderstand each other, or even hurt each other (Proverbs 29:18). Clarity, vision, and high-resolution communication are essential for a healthy church.

  • The more that a church clearly understands their unique place in the larger work of God’s kingdom, the more it can minister from a place of deep passion. To put it plainly, we want you to be excited about the work God has called you to!

“The Lord answered me: Write down this vision; clearly inscribe it on tablets so one may easily read it.”
